First local study shows G-NiiB SIM01 may safely reduce COVID-19 vaccination side-effects in children and adolescents
We are thrilled to announce our new publication in the Hong Kong Medical Journal, which reveals the FIRST local study on how SIM01, a novel microbiome formula, may safely reduce COVID-19 vaccination side-effects in children and adolescents.
The study was a joint effort between GenieBiome Limited and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. It involved 95 children aged 5 to 17 years, who received the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine and took SIM01 before vaccination.
The results showed that SIM01 reduced the rates of adverse events after vaccination, such as injection pain, tiredness, headache, chills, and myalgia. The supplement was also safe and well-tolerated by the children.
This is a significant discovery that may help parents and children overcome their fear of vaccination and protect themselves from COVID-19. It also shows the potential of microbiota-derived health supplement to improve gut health and immunity.
