SIM03: A Novel and Effective Formula for Child Eczema Revealed by Nature-Scientific Reports

We are excited to announce that our produc, t SIM03a novel oral treatment for eczema, has been published in Scientific Reports, a journal under the Nature portfolio. This is a major achievement for SIM03 and for the Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CU Medicine), who invented and developed this groundbreaking formula.

SIM03 is a live bacteria formula that modulates the immune system and reduces inflammation in the gut. It was created using metagenomic analysis of data from eczematous young children and healthy controls, and delivered using a patented microencapsulation technology.

SIM03 has proven its efficacy in a clinical study by CU Medicine, which showed that it improved the disease severity and quality of life of eczematous children aged 1 to 5 years old in Hong Kong. After three months of treatment, their SCORing Atopic Dermatitis (SCORAD) score decreased by 43% and their quality of life indexes improved between 47% (4-5 years old) to 60% (1-3 years old). Specifically, 100% of children with moderate eczema improved to mild grade, while 50% of children with severe eczema improved to moderate grade. These results demonstrate the potential of SIM03 to treat eczema and prevent other allergic diseases development in the future that bothers many children and parents physically and mentally every day.
